I met up with this sweet family one morning last week. It was a beautiful morning, 60 and sunny, my kind of day! I last photographed Benett when he was seven months and he is turning one tomorrow so I thought I should get this post up today! Happy birthday buddy!

Isn’t this little baby beautiful?! I had the opportunity to photograph her one evening last week when it was in the 90s, so what better place for a newborn shoot then outside! She wasn’t sure she wanted to sleep at first, but once she did, she was out!
Her mom had purchased this sweet doll bed and also the owl hats below, they all worked great!
Man, time goes SO fast! It seems that it was not too long ago that I was taking little Evan’s newborn photos and a couple weeks ago we did his six month session! It was also a good time to get some family shots and some updated photos of his sister and brother. I think it was 100 degrees this day, so we worked quick and the kids did great! Here are a few favorites.
I cannot believe a year has gone by since we were blessed with Julia! She is such a sweet baby, with lots of spunk and a little temper too:) Her personality is so different from her big brother, which we all love! Since her birthday was on Saturday this year, I decided on a breakfast party early on and the color scheme has just stuck since I decorated her nursery. It was a fun morning and we were so blessed to celebrate her with family and friends. Julia loves to be around people and she loves to eat, so she thought it was great too!
Here are a few details. I had so much fun crafting and getting ready for this party! I can’t wait to plan Elias’ birthday in November.
Since it was a breakfast party Julia enjoyed pancakes for the first time and she LOVED every bit of them!
This picture cracks me up…..Julia is to busy filling her mouth to smile!
This is not a technically great shot, but I still love it. Julia received an American Girl Bitty Baby and a handmade highchair and cradle, she LOVES baby dolls.
Her party dress was made using this tutorial:

Julia will have lots of handmade clothing in her future! I am going to start much earlier with projects for next summer:) I still haven’t finished all of what I wanted to for this summer.
Wow! It has been so hot here for a couple of weeks now and the evening of this session was no exception. This family was a blast to photograph and aren’t these girls just beautiful! I had SO many favorites from this session. Here are a few favorites!
I cannot wait to meet the newest little girl in this family in September!
