Emi and I got together again to finish up her senior pictures. We did part of her session back in June and finished up with some pictures in a wheat field, a few shots with her sister, and a few at another new location. Emi is a natural in front of the camera! I had a difficult time choosing images for this post because there were so many great shots:)!

Jayce and I met up a week ago to take his senior photos. He was really excited to include his guitar in the pictures. He even played some during the shoot and I have to say, he was quite good!
One of my favorite little guys!
Remember this little guy? He has been on this blog before! I just love him…look at how sweet he is! Every time I see him, he is full of smiles and he loves to clap for me:)
I had to have him try one of my new hats; he wasn’t too into it, but he did keep it on for a few shots.
He is SO close to crawling, I can’t wait!
A couple weeks ago I met up with my friend Megan in Fargo to talk about photography and shoot together. It was so much fun to spend the day with Megan talking about photography; she has been a big help to me!
Since we were planning to shoot together, we needed some models, so I asked our friends Clint and Nancy to bring their kiddos out for us to photograph. Jacob is a super fun four year old! Ellie is so sweet! She is nine months and in the “stranger danger” phase and just learning to walk. She was on the go and kept a very close eye on her Daddy! Thanks again Clint and Nancy for coming out in the heat! Hope you enjoy the photos!
I just LOVE her blue eyes!
Here are some pictures from a recent photo shoot I did/tried to do with Elias. First let me say, taking pictures of my own child is hard! I have tons of pictures of him doing daily things, but I don’t take him out too often to do a shoot anymore. We were in Grand Forks for the weekend with my parents and it was a beautiful evening, so I decided to take him out and he lasted about 7 minutes, but here is what I got and I think he is pretty sweet anyway!
This is the face he makes when he says, “You’ve GOT to be kidding me!” I don’t even remember what I was joking with him about:)
For anyone who knows my bother Daniel, I think the picture on the left looks an awful lot like him (only the blonde version maybe:))! When I told Elias that he looked like Daniel, he got the BIGGEST smile on his face, after all, Uncle Daniel is his idol!
Right about here the complaining began!
Still trying to negotiate leaving and going to get ice cream! He is quite the little negotiator:)
Ending the session on a happy note!
We are having a family session this fall as well as some pictures of Elias by Megan Milbradt of Everyday Art Photography, a fabulous photographer in the Bismark, ND area and I CANNOT wait! I haven’t had professional pictures of Elias taken since he was a baby and we have never had a family photo.
